Global Compliance Manager | Confidential Employer
The Tone:
This is a role for a Global Compliance Manager at ElevenLabs, an AI research and product company that launched in January 2023. ElevenLabs is transforming how users interact with technology, starting with human-like AI voice models and expanding into platforms for intelligent customer experiences (ElevenAgents), content generation (ElevenCreative), and foundational AI audio models (ElevenAPI). This role is critical for building and scaling the company’s global compliance program as it continues its rapid expansion, focusing on ethics, integrity, anti-corruption, trade compliance, and regulatory compliance. It’s a hands-on position for someone adept at developing practical, business-oriented compliance programs that both enable growth and effectively manage risk.
The TL;DR

• Type: Full-time
• Location: Remote (United States, Canada, or United Kingdom) or from offices in New York or London.
• Team: Reports into the Legal Department, collaborating closely with Legal, People, Finance, GTM, Operations, Security, and other business stakeholders.
• Mission: To implement and operate key elements of the Company’s global compliance framework, specifically focusing on ethics and integrity, conflicts of interest, anti-corruption, trade compliance, and regulatory compliance, thereby enabling business growth while managing risk.
• Tech Stack: Experience with compliance management, screening, or case management tools is preferred.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Compliance Program Operations: Help implement and maintain the Company’s global compliance program by supporting periodic risk assessments, program reviews, and developing comprehensive policies, procedures, and guidance materials, while also tracking regulatory developments.
• Ethics & Integrity Management: Manage the Company’s conflict of interest disclosure process, support the Code of Conduct implementation, assist with gifts, entertainment, and other ethics-related matters, and actively promote a culture of integrity and accountability.
• Trade & Anti-Corruption Controls: Support sanctions and export control compliance processes, assist with restricted-party screening, partner on cross-border compliance matters, and help implement anti-corruption and anti-bribery controls, including risk-based third-party due diligence.
• Investigations & Training Coordination: Manage compliance intake and reporting processes, conduct or support internal investigations into compliance concerns, track corrective actions, and coordinate global compliance training programs and awareness campaigns for employees.
• Reporting & Monitoring: Develop compliance metrics and dashboards, track key compliance activities and trends, prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership, and support audits and assessments to review program effectiveness.
The Must-Haves
• Background: This role requires a professional with a background in compliance, ethics, legal operations, investigations, or risk management within a global organization.
• Experience: Candidates should have 8+ years of experience, specifically supporting and developing various elements of compliance programs, including policies, procedures, training, or compliance processes.
• Skills: Strong familiarity with anti-corruption, sanctions, export controls, conflicts of interest, and general corporate compliance principles is essential, coupled with strong project management, operational execution, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bonus: Preferred qualifications include experience in a high-growth technology company, conducting internal investigations, managing third-party due diligence programs, familiarity with specific regulations such as FCPA, UK Bribery Act, OFAC sanctions, and export control regulations, experience with compliance management tools, and relevant compliance certifications (CCEP, ICA, CRCM, or similar).
