The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Zaxbys, located in-person at one of its restaurant locations. Zaxbys is a company dedicated to providing guests with a fun dining experience featuring great food, and to its team members, an exceptionally great place to work. As a General Manager, you will be instrumental in cultivating a positive restaurant culture, leading daily operations, and driving success through effective team leadership and adherence to company objectives. This role is key to ensuring that Zaxbys continues to deliver excellent experiences for both guests and team members.

The TL;DR

• Team: Leads a team of crew members and assists with manager development, reporting to a supervisor.
• Mission: Owns the overall success of the restaurant by ensuring exceptional guest experiences, developing team members, and managing profitability.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead Restaurant Operations: Provide guidance and leadership to the team, overseeing daily restaurant operations to consistently uphold service, product quality, and cleanliness standards.
• Cultivate Team Excellence: Maintain appropriate staffing levels by sourcing, hiring, retaining, and developing top performers through ongoing mentoring, coaching, and accountability.
• Drive Business Performance: Manage profitability by controlling costs, increasing sales through community relationships, and executing action plans according to company goals.
• Ensure Compliance & Safety: Maintain compliance with all company policies, federal, state, and local laws, and ensure the team works safely following all safety guidelines and procedures.
• Conduct Performance Management: Complete performance reviews for crew members and assist with performance reviews for managers, utilizing management tools and accurate records to review performance metrics.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Manager career level. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with some college preferred.
• Experience: 3-5 years of management experience is required. Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Skills: Leadership qualities, organizational skills, ability to interact cooperatively with others, open availability to work a minimum of 5 days and 48 hours per week, ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, valid driver’s license, and vehicle insurance.
• Bonus: Restaurant management experience preferred.
