General Manager | La La Land

• Team: Manages a team of direct reports (store managers and their team), reporting to the Area Manager.
• Mission: To lead store operations, drive business performance, and foster a joyful, guest-focused environment that embodies the La La Land brand.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Leadership: Lead, coach, and inspire store managers and their teams to deliver outstanding guest experiences and foster a positive, inclusive work environment.
• Operations: Oversee all day-to-day store operations, ensuring efficiency, profitability, consistency, and compliance with company and safety standards.
• Financials: Drive store performance by managing budgets, labor costs, inventory, and other key financial metrics to ensure profitability.
• Guest Experience: Model exceptional guest service, uphold La La Land’s brand promise, and promptly address guest concerns to continuously improve experiences.
• Growth: Implement marketing and community engagement initiatives while analyzing operational data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Managerial career level with a high school diploma or equivalent, focusing on operations management.
• Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of operations management experience, including previous experience managing a team of direct reports, with willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Skills: Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication; strong ability to lead teams and foster collaboration; organized, detail-focused, and skilled in time management; knowledge of health and safety regulations; strong understanding of inventory management, scheduling, and labor cost controls.
• Bonus: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; coffee/tea beverage industry experience preferred.
