• Tech Stack: POS systems, Parts lookup systems, Inventory systems, testing and diagnostic equipment, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a store team, overseeing their selection, hiring, development, performance management, coaching, and scheduling.
• Business Growth: Achieve overall store sales goals and service objectives, specifically managing and growing Professional Customer relationships and sales programs.
• Operational Excellence: Ensure the consistent execution of all inventory and operational standards, including manager-on-duty responsibilities like task assignment and safety.
• Customer Experience: Coach all team members to deliver exceptional service and meet customer expectations for both DIY and Professional needs.
• Financial Oversight: Be accountable for achieving financial metrics, maintaining service and appearance standards, and reviewing P&L statements.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Manager level. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required, with a working knowledge of automotive systems.
• Experience: 2-3 years of experience managing a team of 10-20 team members in a retail environment, with proven financial and business acumen.
• Skills: Ability to review and analyze P&L statements, recruit and develop quality Team Members, build and grow relationships with Professional Customers, and communicate effectively in English.
• Bonus: Valid driver’s license, ASE certification, Bachelor’s degree in business or a related area, Spanish language proficiency, Microsoft PowerPoint proficiency.
