This is a full-time role at Panera Bread, located in an in-person setting. Panera builds beloved neighborhood bakery-cafes, known for making familiar fantastic and creating a culture of warmth. This General Manager role is critical for leading a high-performing team, overseeing operational success, and ensuring every guest feels the Panera Warmth. You will take full ownership of the cafe’s operations, making strategic decisions and fostering a thriving environment for both guests and team members.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Operations Ownership: Oversee all operational aspects of the bakery-cafe, ensuring successful execution of company strategies and quality standards.
• Team Leadership: Own the entire team lifecycle from planning staffing needs, scheduling, hiring, and onboarding to continuous development and performance management.
• Guest Experience: Ensure every guest receives extraordinary service and enjoys the quality of food, fostering loyalty and a positive Panera Warmth experience.
• Financial Management: Manage the bakery-cafe’s overall costs and inventory to meet financial goals and operational efficiency.
• Culture Development: Cultivate a workplace environment that embodies Panera’s culture of warmth, belonging, growth, and trust for all team members.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A professional with management-level expertise in restaurant operations, capable of obtaining ServSafe certification.
• Experience: At least 3 years of preferred experience as a Restaurant General Manager, demonstrating the ability to successfully lead shifts and develop others in a dynamic setting.
• Skills: Strong business acumen, effective team leadership and development, clear communication.
