The Tone:
This is a full-time, in-person General Manager role at Zaxbys. This role is crucial for providing guidance and leadership, creating a positive culture, and ensuring operational excellence across all restaurant functions. General Managers are vital for upholding Zaxbys’ standards, developing team members, and driving the overall success and profitability of the restaurant.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Team Leadership & Development: Provide guidance and leadership to foster a positive culture and high team morale, ensuring proper training, ongoing mentoring, coaching, and development for all team members.
• Operational Excellence: Manage and oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring consistent adherence to service, product quality, and cleanliness standards, while creating and delegating effective work schedules.
• Guest Experience & Sales Growth: Ensure the restaurant delivers great experiences to guests, strives to increase sales by building community relationships, and maintains outstanding product and service.
• Profitability Management: Drive profitability by controlling costs and losses, executing action plans based on performance metrics, and developing team members to meet company goals and objectives.
• Compliance & Administration: Complete all required training, maintain compliance with company guidelines and all applicable laws, and utilize management tools to keep neat, accurate, and current records.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Manager career level with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 3-5 years of management experience required.
• Skills: Demonstrated leadership qualities, strong organizational skills, and the ability to interact cooperatively with others.
• Bonus: Some college preferred; restaurant management experience preferred.
