General Manager | Zaxbys

• Team: Leads a restaurant team and reports to a supervisor.
• Mission: To lead daily restaurant operations by developing team members, driving sales growth, managing costs, and consistently upholding operational standards to ensure an excellent guest experience.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Team Leadership & Development: Provide guidance and leadership to foster a positive culture and high team morale, overseeing all staffing needs from sourcing and hiring to training, coaching, mentoring, and conducting performance reviews for team members.
• Operational Excellence: Ensure the restaurant consistently delivers great guest experiences by upholding high standards for service, product quality, and cleanliness, while also planning shift assignments and ensuring all required training, including Food Safety and Manager Certification, is completed.
• Profitability Management: Drive sales growth and control costs by regularly reviewing performance metrics, developing action plans to improve execution, and striving to increase sales through building community relationships and offering outstanding products and service.
• Compliance & Safety: Maintain strict compliance with all Zaxby’s guidelines, policies, and procedures, as well as federal, state, and local laws, while ensuring the team works safely and following all safety guidelines and promptly handling guest and team member concerns or injuries.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Managerial position with a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 3-5 years of management experience required.
• Skills: Strong leadership qualities, effective organizational skills, and the ability to interact cooperatively with others, alongside the capability to manage daily restaurant operations, staffing, sales, and costs.
• Bonus: Some college education preferred, and restaurant management experience is preferred.
