Future Builders Internship – Business Analyst

This internship provides an opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. As a Business Analyst Intern, you’ll be responsible for:

Understanding business needs and providing practical solutions. This involves conducting interviews, performing data and document analysis, surveys, and shadow sessions to gather requirements.
Conducting user acceptance testing (UAT) and providing training to end-users. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that new systems meet the needs of the users and providing them with the necessary training to use them effectively.
Researching potential business opportunities and/or changes to meet business goals. This involves identifying potential areas for improvement and developing solutions to meet those goals.
Writing project and system requirement specifications. You’ll be responsible for clearly and concisely documenting the requirements for new projects and systems in a way that is easily understood by a diverse audience.
Participating in new technology upgrades and testing of system enhancements. You’ll be involved in the process of upgrading existing systems and testing the new functionalities to ensure they work as intended.
Assisting in developing process maps and workflow diagrams. You’ll be responsible for creating visual representations of the different processes and workflows within the company.

Requirements:

Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Graduating from a 4-year College or University between December 2024 and May 2025.
Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or similar field.
Experience in project planning and management.
Experience compiling and analyzing metrics to identify trends and efficiencies.
Experience in financial reporting.
Experience connecting data or software through APIs.
Strong critical thinking skills and a self-directed and innovative mindset.
Interest in solving complex problems and investing the time and energy to overcome roadblocks and learn from mistakes.
Ability to deliver value in an ambiguous environment, including various work assignments and changing priorities.
Ability to meaningfully contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of state-of-the-art technology applications.
Ability to build and sustain working relationships with both business and IT professionals while focusing on the needs of customers and consumers.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Completion of Lennar Technology Internship or other relevant technology internship with strong performance.
