This is a remote, 6-month, unpaid internship position for a Funding Programs Intern. The internship requires a commitment of 2 hours daily, with virtual team meetings typically held between 8 AM and 11 AM PST.

The company seeks individuals passionate about supporting authors and gaining experience in publishing. The intern will assist in the application process for grants, research awards, and residency programs for authors.

Responsibilities:

Research: Identify grant opportunities and awards relevant to authors and literary projects.
Application Assistance: Prepare and submit grant applications and proposals for various residency programs.
Collaboration: Work with authors and the editorial team to gather information and documentation for submissions.
Review: Review application materials for clarity, coherence, and adherence to guidelines.
Industry Awareness: Stay up-to-date with trends in funding opportunities and industry standards for grants and awards.
Database Management: Maintain an organized database of grants and awards, including deadlines and requirements.

Requirements:
