What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Modelling: Construct and rigorously maintain complex financial models designed to accurately forecast fund performance and project investment returns across various scenarios.
• Scenario Analysis: Develop and prepare detailed scenario analyses, alongside robust business planning models, to aid strategic decision-making and risk assessment.
• FP&A Leadership: Take the lead on critical FP&A activities, including the development and reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs) and in-depth financial analysis.
• Investor Reporting: Manage and support the preparation of comprehensive quarterly and annual fund reporting, ensuring clear and effective communications with investors.
• Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate closely with both internal finance and investment teams to drive strategic initiatives and execute various ad hoc analytical projects.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Candidates must possess an experienced professional background (5+ years) in either Private Equity, Investment Banking, Fund Finance, or FP&A, with the essential requirement of having gained this FP&A or Finance Analyst experience specifically within the media, entertainment, music, or content industry.
• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience is required across Private Equity, Investment Banking, Fund Finance, or FP&A roles, coupled with proven experience in working with complex financial data and comprehensive reporting systems.
• Skills: Demonstrated advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modelling, strong accounting knowledge complemented by exceptional analytical capabilities, and excellent communication skills critical for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders. Additionally, candidates must be highly organised, detail-oriented, and commercially minded.
