Job Description

Summary of the Role:
The Fund Accounting business units act as a third-party intermediary within the financial ecosystem. The primary function involves bridging the gap between fund managers and investors to verify and distribute assets that are tied to various investments. The specific responsibilities of a fund administrator can vary significantly based on the particular demands of the fund and the industry sector it operates within. These positions are characterized by close interaction with clients and serve as an excellent gateway into the world of alternative investing.

Key Responsibilities (What You Can Expect):

• Prepare cash and journal entries as well as bank reconciliations.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and support period-end closings.
• Engage with clients through various channels, including email correspondence and participation in calls.
• Participate actively in quarterly and annual audit functions.
• Process and accurately track daily cash contributions and distributions for investment fund clients.
• Take part in dedicated Intern Programming focused on professional development, career progression, and presentation skills.

Qualifications and Requirements (What We’re Looking For):

Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance with a strong emphasis on accounting, OR possess previous experience from an accounting internship.
Career Interest: Demonstrate a strong interest in Fund Accounting as a career path.
Academic Status: Must be a current Junior with an expected graduation date falling between December 2026 and August 2027.
Technical Skills: Proficient with Excel.

Compensation:
