The Tone:
This is a full-time, hybrid role at U.S. Bank, located in Tempe, AZ or Milwaukee, WI. The successful candidate will contribute to the accurate daily calculation of fund values, ensuring transparency and trust for investors and partners.

• Mission: Maintain accurate financial records and Net Asset Value calculations for various funds, ensuring compliance with SEC regulations and GAAP principles.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office applications

What You’ll Actually Do
• Accounting: Maintain the general ledger and records for mutual funds, exchange-traded funds, local government investment pools, and closed-end funds.
• Reconciliation: Prepare daily general ledger accounting, prime broker/bank cash reconciliations, and portfolio reconciliations.
• Processing: Execute advisor/portfolio management processing, apply corporate actions, and post expense accruals/payments.
• Valuation: Determine daily Net Asset Value (NAV) and mill rates, and perform portfolio pricing analysis/validations.
• Collaboration: Partner with internal/external administrators, transfer agencies, and prime brokers/custodians on compliance, audit, and financials.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience: One to two years of experience in accounting or finance activities.
• Skills: Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications.
• Bonus: Thorough knowledge of accounting, reporting, and analysis, along with the ability to identify and resolve exceptions and analyze data.
