The Job: Full Stack Developer

This is a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to a growing product at the intersection of AI and human safety. As a Full Stack Developer at Deep Sentinel, you will have a direct impact on people’s lives by building and enhancing the applications that power their security system.

Responsibilities:

• Independently develop and enhance applications: Work autonomously and collaboratively to build and improve various applications for deployment, support, and administration of the video delivery systems.
• Implement end-user features: Develop features for both web and mobile applications, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Design and build web services: Create and test web services or microservices primarily using Python.
• Optimize data storage and retrieval: Design and implement robust data storage and retrieval mechanisms using technologies like Redis and MySQL.
• Integrate with AI systems: Develop and maintain interfaces between applications and the company’s Machine Learning and Advanced AI systems.
• Collaborate with team members: Work effectively with other technical team members, including QA, and product specialists.
• Partner with business teams: Collaborate with business teams to develop and maintain business-critical applications.
• Develop cloud-deployed software: Work with international teams to design and deploy software systems in the cloud.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience using React or React Native in commercial, production deployments
• 5+ years of experience using HTML and CSS
• 5+ years of experience coding in JavaScript or TypeScript
• 5+ years of experience coding in Python in commercial, production deployments
• 3+ years of experience creating DDL and DML in an RDBMS system, ideally MySQL
• Familiarity with compiled languages like C#, C++, Java, or Rust is a plus
• Strong understanding of common UI development patterns like MVP, MVC, MVVM
• Solid knowledge of software development best practices like SOLID principles or DDD
• Proficiency in unit and integration testing
• Deep knowledge of web programming specifics and experience building cloud-native applications
• Strong Linux skills
• Excellent debugging and analysis skills
• Experience designing and implementing web services, especially for inter-system interaction
• Experience integrating with third-party services
• Experience with message queuing concepts
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Exposure to machine learning is a plus
• Excellent teamwork skills
• Exceptional communication skills and fluency in English
• Experience with international/remote/cross-timezone collaboration
