Fulfillment Associate | Lowe’s
The Tone:
This is an in-person role at Lowe’s, a FORTUNE® 100 home improvement company serving millions of customer transactions weekly across its extensive network of stores, branches, and distribution centers. As a Fulfillment Associate, you are integral to ensuring that Lowe’s customers receive their orders accurately and efficiently. This position is vital for combining direct product handling with essential customer service and operational support, ultimately contributing to a smooth and reliable customer experience.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Order Fulfillment & Staging: Accurately pick, stage, inspect, and fulfill customer orders on time, maintaining clean, organized, and safe staging areas for efficiency and safety.
• Customer Service Excellence: Deliver excellent service by meticulously selecting high-quality items, thoroughly validating orders, answering customer questions, and effectively connecting customers with specialized associates.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate and maintain current certification for powered equipment, including Forklifts, Order Pickers, and Narrow Aisle Reach Trucks, while adhering to all established safety protocols and requirements.
• Inventory Management Support: Contribute to inventory accuracy by proficiently using the Orders App, ensuring SIMS compliance, and collaborating with leadership to resolve any short picks or discrepancies in inventory.
• Operational & Administrative Tasks: Complete essential administrative, maintenance, and readiness tasks such as conducting audits, performing order follow-ups, and managing locker systems, promptly reporting any safety hazards or theft concerns to management.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career professional with foundational knowledge in retail operations and fulfillment processes.
• Experience: 6 Months of Experience using a computer for inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information, coupled with 6 months of experience using common retail technology such as smart phones and tablets.
• Skills: Must possess or be able to obtain certification for Counterbalance Forklift, Order Picker, and Narrow Aisle Reach Truck, demonstrating strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Bonus: High school diploma or GED, 6 months of retail experience, 6 months of experience in a customer service or product fulfillment position (particularly in home improvement or hardware retail), and 6 months of experience in any industry inspecting, carrying, loading, and unloading product or material in or out of vehicles.
