Front Office Reception Coordinator | ŌURA
The Tone:
This is a fixed-term administrative role at ŌURA, located in San Francisco, CA, with potential for conversion to a permanent position. ŌURA creates award-winning smart rings and an app that help people understand and improve their health through readiness, activity, and sleep insights. This role is crucial as the company’s primary point of contact for all visitors, ensuring smooth front office operations and providing essential administrative and logistical support that underpins daily workplace functions.

• Pay: $76000–$95000 yearly
• Team: Reports to the Chief of Staff
• Mission: Serve as the primary point of contact for all visitors, managing front desk operations and providing essential administrative and logistical support.
• Tech Stack: G-Suite (Gmail, Calendar, Docs), Slack
What You’ll Actually Do
• Visitor Welcome: Warmly greet all new hires, visitors, clients, and candidates, ensuring they have a positive experience from their arrival.
• Access Management: Manage the end-to-end badging system, creating badges for new hires, handling access for existing employees, and maintaining accurate visitor logs securely.
• Office Presentation: Ensure the reception area, lobby, and main conference rooms remain tidy, well-stocked, and presentable throughout the day.
• Mail Logistics: Act as the main point of contact for all couriers, managing all incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries, including tracking high-value items.
• Administrative Assistance: Assist with ordering catering for meetings, organizing team lunches, and supporting the Office Manager with various administrative tasks and onsite event logistics.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level career experience in general administrative duties, customer service, or hospitality. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience: At least 1 year of experience in general administrative duties, customer service, or hospitality functions.
• Skills: Ability to quickly learn new software, experience with G-Suite (Gmail, Calendar, Docs) and Slack, strong project management and multitasking skills, proactive problem-solving, and handling sensitive information with total confidentiality.
• Bonus: An appreciation for a startup environment and a “can-do” attitude where supporting the team’s success is paramount.
