This is an internship at Forvis Mazars US, available in multiple locations. This role is crucial for developing aspiring professionals, expanding their knowledge in forensic accounting, litigation services, fraud investigations, and complex valuation issues. • Mission: Support the Forensics & Valuation practice by performing client services, developing expertise, and building collaborative relationships.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Valuation: Prepare business valuation models and reports for various client needs.
• Research: Research and analyze industry, transactional, and economic information to support client engagements.
• Auditing: Assist audit teams with reviewing and testing fair value estimates.
• Investigations: Participate in investigations, litigation support, and forensic consulting engagements.
• Analysis: Perform detailed analysis of financial and legal documents, potentially fraudulent transactions, and reconstruct financial statements.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited college/university; Entry-Level.
• Experience: Maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or higher (in major and overall), and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Skills: Effective time management, strong oral and written communication skills, problem-solving attitude, and close attention to detail.
• Bonus: Desire to sit for the CPA exam and/or desire to obtain the Accreditation in Business Valuation (ABV), Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA), and/or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) credentials.
