What You’ll Actually Do
• Patient Care Assistance: Assist physicians by conducting thorough patient interviews, accurately taking medical histories, and performing physical examinations.
• Chronic Condition Management & Prevention: Support the management of chronic health conditions and actively participate in preventive care initiatives, including health screenings.
• Collaborative Care Planning: Collaborate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop, implement, and monitor individualized patient care plans.
• Patient Education: Educate patients comprehensively on crucial aspects of health maintenance, disease prevention strategies, and available treatment options.
• Administrative & Documentation: Perform essential administrative tasks, meticulously document patient information in EMR systems, and manage patient follow-up procedures.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Possess a medical degree from an accredited foreign medical school and demonstrate a solid, foundational understanding of primary care principles.
• Experience: Demonstrate strong clinical skills. Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a significant advantage for this role.
• Skills: Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, consistently applying a patient-centered approach, and the ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Bonus: ECFMG (Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates) certification is preferred. Bilingual or multilingual skills are highly desirable, reflecting the diverse nature of the patient population.
