Job Description

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Flight Test Control Engineer (FTCE) to join their Flight Test team. The FTCE will have a strong background in developmental flight testing, working with a team of engineers, maintainers, and logistics personnel. The FTCE will ensure the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance in all aspects of flight test operations. This position requires the ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Travel, overtime, odd shifts, and weekend work may be required.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary test team to ensure timely project completion and high standards of work.
• Develop and implement robust processes and procedures for all flight test operations.
• Ensure rigorous configuration control practices, aligning all weapon system modifications, systems, and components with company standards.
• Maintain and stay current with test team training and company standard requirements.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited college or university in engineering, science, or technology discipline.

Desired Skills:
• Experience interacting with customers in a formal capacity or as a subject matter expert.
• Experience with engineering documentation, configuration control, and change boards.
• Experience creating/maintaining an Integrated Master Schedule Network.
• Works effectively with minimal guidance.
• Experience in Flight Test planning or scheduling.

Security Clearance Statement:
This position requires a government security clearance, and you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
• Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years.
