• Team: Audit Interns work under Seniors and Managers, receiving mentorship through a Buddy program.
• Mission: This intern will perform financial reporting engagement procedures and assist in preparing financial statements to ensure fair presentation in accordance with GAAP.
• Tech Stack: Accounting Research Manager

What You’ll Actually Do
• Demonstrate understanding of accounting and auditing standards and theory.
• Learn and apply BT’s Audit Approach to assigned sections of engagements.
• Document working papers clearly and adequately.
• Analyze financial data including material assets, liabilities, income, and expenditures within assigned sections.
• Conduct operational and financial audits to ensure fair presentation of financial statements according to GAAP.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level intern working towards an undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting.
• Experience: Basic knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles is required.
• Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, strong commitment to professional and client service excellence, and the ability to work 40 hours a week.
• Bonus: A GPA of 3.2 or higher.
