Job Description: Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Intern
This is a 10-week summer internship (June 2nd – August 8th), hybrid position (one day a week on-site in King of Prussia, PA, otherwise remote). It’s a full-time internship requiring a 40-hour work week, Monday through Friday, with flexible hours to accommodate coursework.
Responsibilities:
• Data Consolidation and Reporting: Consolidate enterprise data from various systems (cultivation, manufacturing, distribution, retail) for unified reporting and analysis.
• Financial Modeling and Dashboards: Develop financial models and reporting dashboards to analyze business decisions, key performance indicators (KPIs), and ROI of investments.
• Process Improvement: Identify and propose improvements to internal processes, presenting insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Technology Solutions: Provide technology or reporting solutions to enhance efficiency.
• Project Management: Support strategic business decisions by collecting data, creating models, analyzing trends, identifying key issues, and presenting findings to management.
• Capstone Project: Focuses on using Power BI and data storytelling to align disparate systems and regional businesses.
• Other tasks: Ad hoc assignments as needed.
Requirements:
• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business administration (finance, accounting, data analytics, computer science, or related field).
• At least 18 years old.
• US work authorization.
Ideal Qualifications:
• Prior internship/work experience in data modeling/visualization (preferred, but not required).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
• Task and project-oriented.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Strong communication (written and verbal), time management, prioritization, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
