Financial Analyst, Technology | Inspire

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Inspire, located in Atlanta, GA. Inspire is a multi-brand global restaurant company whose portfolio includes more than 33,300 Arby’s, Baskin-Robbins, Buffalo Wild Wings, Dunkin’, Jimmy John’s, and SONIC restaurants worldwide. This role is essential for supporting the transformation of Inspire Brands into a multi-brand global restaurant company by providing critical financial planning and analytical support specifically for the Technology organization, enabling informed decision-making.

• Mission: Provide essential financial planning and analytical support for Technology analytics to enable informed decision-making and cost optimization.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Budgeting: Support the execution of G&A and Direct-to-Fund budget processes, focusing on software spend and contract labor management, to align operational spending with strategic goals.
• Monthly analyses: Perform monthly variance analysis for G&A and Direct-to-Fund costs, providing explanations for material variances to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Forecasting: Collaborate with Technology teams to collect and analyze spend data, projecting trends for non-headcount software and professional fees to ensure alignment with business goals.
• Ad hoc analyses: Provide Technology leadership with ad hoc spend analysis, delivering insights to drive spend optimization and cost-efficiency opportunities.
• Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and propose improvements in planning and reporting processes, identifying efficiencies to enhance strategic business partnership and decision support.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Experience: 2-3+ years of experience in Planning & Analysis.
• Skills: Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to manage time and multiple projects.
• Bonus: Master’s Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting; 1+ years of Multi-brand corporate or Shared Services experience; experience with Enterprise Planning and Reporting software such as Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Financial Management, and SmartView; experience with Business Intelligence analysis and presentation tools including Tableau, Power BI, and SharePoint.
