This Financial Analyst position is crucial in empowering the Marketing team to make informed and strategic investment decisions that drive brand growth and achieve both top-line and bottom-line financial objectives for the company.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Budget Leadership: Lead the annual budgeting process for the commercial team’s brand, collaborating with VPs, Brand Directors, and Managers for the promotional packaging and marketing lines of the P&L.
• Financial Forecasting & Reporting: Generate a monthly Latest Estimate (LE) of brand spend, projecting current month and quarter financial performance and requiring constant communication with brand personnel to fine-tune estimated expenses and key program commitments; additionally, produce accurate financial reporting of actual marketing spend and analyze variances against AOP, LE, and Prior Year results, identifying risks or opportunities.
• Strategic Insight Delivery: Deliver actionable brand insights to Marketing partners, empowering them to build and execute effective brand plans that achieve market success and financial targets.
• Investment Evaluation: Oversee and track the financial spend versus budget for all Brand Promotional pack investments, providing support for financial feasibility analysis for all brand-specific projects and promotional packages. This includes performing after-action reviews to evaluate if project objectives and targets were achieved, along with SKU profitability assessments.
• Process Optimization: Design optimal procedural solutions to deliver on key imperatives such as Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Bottoms Up Build (BUBS), and Monthly Brand Performance Reviews (MBR). This involves bringing a challenger mindset to existing ways of working, seeking to implement sustainable deliverables leveraging automation, and simplifying front-end processes to ensure marketing customers can easily meet monthly deliverables and financial requirements.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree with an Accounting Designation.
• Experience: Two or more years of experience in finance, preferably within the beverage or consumer industry.
• Skills: Solid Excel proficiency, P&L working knowledge, strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities, attention to detail, and effective written and communication/presentation skills.
• Bonus: CPA certification, experience with SAP, Power BI, or Hana Analysis, and a strong curiosity for learning and making a difference.
