Financial Analyst – Investment Reporting (Hybrid) | Transamerica

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Analysis: Perform professional financial analysis by extracting, compiling, consolidating, and analyzing financial data from various accounting and information systems.
• Reporting and Verification: Analyze, test, and verify compiled financial information for correctness and reasonableness, updating financial reports and models for forecasting, trending, and results analysis, and explaining how analyses were produced.
• Process Management: Participate in monthly accounting processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records, troubleshoot problems related to information flow, and contribute to improving procedures and organizing documentation of reporting and planning processes.
• Stakeholder Support: Respond to requests from management and other departments, and support client reporting needs including client performance and compensation.
• Compliance & Projects: Ensure adherence to the company’s framework of internal controls and assist with project work, potentially serving as a member of divisional project teams.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent work experience.
• Experience: Up to 2 years of experience with a degree.
• Skills: Advanced computer skills, solid knowledge of accounting/financial areas such as investments, insurance products, or premium.
• Bonus: Background with Clearwater and Oracle tools.
