Description:
This is a Summer Accounting Internship for undergraduate or submatriculating Master’s degree students in accounting. The internship takes place in Seattle, Washington.
Key Responsibilities:
• Data-driven analysis: You’ll use your analytical skills to analyze financial data, identify trends, and solve problems within the accounting organization.
• Business understanding: You’ll gain experience in applying accounting principles to real-world business scenarios and understanding how accounting impacts various departments within Amazon.
• Project-based work: You’ll be assigned an intern project requiring you to optimize, improve, and drive quality for an existing process or solve a problem. This project will involve collaborating with business partners across different departments, including accounting, finance, operations, and technology.
• Presentations: You’ll present your project findings at the end of the internship for evaluation.
Potential for Full-time Employment:
• The internship can lead to a full-time offer to join Amazon’s Accounting track within the Amazon Finance Rotation Program (AFRP) after graduation.
Eligibility:
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work 40 hours per week for a 12-week summer internship between May and September.
• Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Accounting (or a submatriculating Master’s degree program completed concurrently with your Bachelor’s degree).
• Graduation date must be between December 2025 and June 2026.
• Must be able to relocate to Seattle, WA.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Compensation:
• The base pay for this position ranges from $24.57/hr in the lowest geographic market up to $52.50/hr in the highest geographic market.
• Pay is based on various factors, including market location and experience.
• Amazon offers a comprehensive compensation package, including equity, sign-on payments, and benefits like medical, financial, and other options, depending on the role.
