Financial Analyst I-III | Entergy

What You’ll Actually Do
• Monitor and Maintain: Monitor, maintain, and complete key financial and operational functions, and participate in the reporting processes.
• Create and Update Models: Create financial models or analyses as needed, explain the results, and perform necessary updates to models and related systems, ensuring output accuracy.
• Improve Processes: Suggest and implement process improvements to benefit the greater team.
• Communicate and Gather Information: Clearly communicate issues to teammates and internal/external customers, and communicate with other departments and subject matter experts to gather business information and understand project risks.
• Collaborate for Decisions: Work in collaboration with business units to assess industry/market trends, commodity pricing, and regulatory strategies, preparing financial comparative data for decision making.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Engineering.
• Experience: 0-5 years of professional experience in finance, accounting, banking, or the relevant field.
• Skills: Proficient knowledge of MS Office, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; ability to analyze problems and create solutions; significant knowledge of financial theory and valuation; strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Bonus: MBA; CPA, CFA, PE, or similar certificates/licenses.
