Financial Analyst, Hospitals | Ardent Health

What You’ll Actually Do
• Reporting: Prepare and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and analytical tools for hospital and market operations.
• Analysis: Analyze financial and operational performance, identifying key trends, variances, risks, and opportunities.
• Planning: Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting processes for assigned hospitals and market operations.
• System Support: Support budgeting system maintenance, testing, training, and process improvements.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with finance and operational teams to support strategic and operational initiatives, communicating analytical findings.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field with knowledge of accounting and finance principles and practices.
• Experience: 1+ years of finance, accounting, or FP&A experience.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools, and effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Bonus: Healthcare or hospital finance experience, experience with budgeting, forecasting, or financial planning systems, or a Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
