What You’ll Actually Do
• Budgeting: Participate actively in the budgeting process by gathering essential data, performing detailed variance analysis, and identifying critical financial trends.
• Modeling: Conduct robust financial modeling using Excel and specialized financial software to support comprehensive forecasting and strategic scenario planning initiatives.
• Market Research: Research and analyze relevant market trends, competitor activity, and broader economic factors that directly impact the Company’s financial performance.
• Ad-hoc Analysis: Assist management with diverse ad-hoc financial analysis projects, providing critical insights as required.
• Interdepartmental Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other departments across the organization to meticulously gather, interpret, and present financial data.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in business or finance, or relevant accounting experience.
• Experience: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and formulas.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to dissect complex financial data; excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all financial reporting and analysis tasks; effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams; an inquisitive approach to identify and resolve the root causes of financial issues, along with a sense of urgency to complete tasks efficiently.
