Financial Analyst – Corporate FP&A | UPS

The Tone:
This is a permanent role at UPS, located in Atlanta, GA, with a hybrid work schedule of four days in the office and one day remote. This role is crucial for driving strategic financial initiatives, delivering actionable insights, and streamlining business processes to ensure accurate forecasting and reporting of key financial metrics across the company.

• Mission: Lead planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis of UPS’s consolidated balance sheet and cash flow statements, while contributing to long-range planning and enterprise-wide strategy projects.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint), OneStream (preferred)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Forecast: Develop, forecast, and analyze UPS’s consolidated balance sheet and cash flow statements.
• Monitor: Monitor and evaluate working capital trends impacting cash flow performance.
• Manage Data: Upload, validate, and analyze financial data within OneStream forecasting and planning software.
• Plan: Support long-range planning activities using advanced forecasting methodologies and statistical models.
• Report: Create and audit financial reports that inform senior management decisions.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Management Information Systems, or a related business discipline.
• Experience: Demonstrates an understanding of basic financial terminology and concepts such as cash flows, operating profit/loss, and net income; conducts financial analyses; experience working with and manipulating large sets of data.
• Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; ability to work independently.
• Bonus: Experience with OneStream preferred but not required; accounting experience preferred but not required.
