The Tone:
This is a full-time role at BGB Group, which can be performed remotely within the United States, or in the New York City metropolitan area. BGB Group is a healthcare communications agency that provides a wide range of services, including traditional pharmaceutical advertising, promotional medical education, payer marketing, and consulting services to biopharmaceutical clients. This role is crucial for managing the financial health and operational performance of client accounts, ensuring accurate reporting and timely billing to support the agency’s strategic and creative partnerships.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Project Financial Management: Monitor project budgets, track actuals, and manage remaining balances across assigned accounts within agency financial systems.
• Forecasting & Analysis: Prepare and maintain project revenue and staffing forecasts, analyzing performance against actuals and identifying material variances.
• Billing & Operations: Prepare client invoices in accordance with contractual terms and agency policies, ensuring timely billing and revenue realization.
• Revenue & Controls Support: Prepare project-level financial analyses for monthly revenue review processes and assist with financial reviews or audits.
• Data Collaboration: Partner with Project Managers to ensure financial data accurately reflects project scope, staffing plans, and progress.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Experience: 1–3 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or project finance.
• Skills: Strong Excel and financial analysis skills, high attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Bonus: Experience working in professional services, consulting, or advertising agency environments; experience with project financial management or ERP systems.
