What You’ll Actually Do
• Prepare Annual Budgets: Develops annual hospital budgets using input from senior leadership, field directors, and historical trends.
• Conduct Variance Analysis: Performs budget-to-actual variance analysis to pinpoint trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Update Financial Forecasts: Revises financial forecasts based on budget variances, historical trends, leadership feedback, and new information from other departments.
• Report Financial Performance: Produces monthly financial reports, communicates results, and aids in preparing quarterly board of director slides.
• Improve Financial Processes: Enhances financial processes and systems to increase efficiency, accuracy, and support team goals.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Experience: 1-3 years of experience in financial analysis or a similar role.
• Skills: Strong functional and technical knowledge in financial modeling and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, financial software), excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy, a problem-solving and solution-oriented mindset, and consistent and effective communication skills.
• Bonus: Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
