Financial Analyst | CLEARSTEM

This Financial Analyst role is pivotal in supporting the development of the company’s financial infrastructure during an exciting growth phase, contributing to financial reporting, analysis, and operational finance. This position offers a strategic opportunity for an analytically strong individual to translate data into actionable insights, directly impacting unit economics and multi-channel growth.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and rigorously analyze monthly financial reports, including detailed P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow projections, while also conducting variance analysis against budgets and forecasts to identify key business drivers and trends.
• Budgeting & Planning: Own the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes to ensure the business operates with clear financial visibility, and build and maintain robust financial models that support strategic planning and high-stakes decision-making.
• Inventory & Margin Management: Support comprehensive inventory reporting, reconciliation, and analysis to optimize cash flow, assist in tracking COGS, gross margin, and manufacturing variances, and collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to maintain data accuracy.
• Financial Operations & Process Improvement: Facilitate the monthly close process by providing essential reconciliations, accrual support, and balance sheet reviews, alongside helping to improve financial models, dashboards, ERP systems, and overall financial documentation and processes for a high-growth environment.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related business field.
• Experience: 2–5 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or financial planning & analysis (FP&A).
• Skills: Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, including managing large data sets and building complex financial models; high attention to detail.
• Bonus: Experience with accounting systems and financial reporting within a CPG or retail setting; strong verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
