The Tone:
This is a full-time role at RemoteHunter’s client, located remotely in the United States. This organization operates within the healthcare sector, providing support to approximately 900 practices nationwide across multiple specialties including Emergency Medicine, Hospital Medicine, Anesthesia, and Urgent Care. This Financial Analyst role is critical for supporting the financial health and growth of various practice lines by delivering accurate financial insights and maintaining data integrity across platforms. The position contributes directly to informed decision-making within a collaborative culture focused on shared goals and community impact.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Analyze & Report: Perform detailed financial analysis across multiple medical specialties and growth areas, utilizing Oracle Financial environments and enterprise tools to analyze metrics like payer mix, staffing patterns, and provider compensation, while also assisting in monthly Budget vs Actual reporting and refining dashboards.
• Forecast & Plan: Develop comprehensive forecasts for income statements and balance sheets for new and existing sites, building financial pro-formas to guide key business decisions and supporting annual enterprise planning with quarterly forecast updates.
• Manage Data: Ensure the quality, reliability, and integrity of all financial and operational data, maintaining seamless data integration across various financial systems and platforms, and responding to inquiries regarding data and financial proposals.
• Support Business Development: Prepare robust financial proposals for new business opportunities and support company-wide finance initiatives, including collaboration with physician leaders on budgeting processes.
• Oversee Projects: Prioritize and manage financial tracking projects, communicating material changes and progress to multiple stakeholders, and actively participating in the month-end close process.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, economics, finance, or accounting, suitable for an early-career professional.
• Experience: Minimum of one year in financial analysis, finance, accounting, economics, or applied mathematics, alongside demonstrated project management experience.
• Skills: Strong analytical, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills; excellent written and oral communication; strong business acumen; and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bonus: Experience in healthcare finance or accounting, advanced Excel skills including Macros and Pivot Tables, and familiarity with Oracle Hyperion/EPBCS, Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, or Oracle NetSuite.
