This role is crucial for supporting the Finance Manager in maintaining and strengthening the company’s internal control environment, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, and contributing to overall financial compliance and process improvement.

• Mission: Owns the integrity of financial records and internal controls through accurate accounting, detailed reconciliations, and compliance efforts.
• Tech Stack: SAP, Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis tools)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Manage: Oversee month-end and year-end financial closing activities, including the preparation and reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
• Maintain: Prepare and maintain accurate balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring timely resolution of outstanding items, and reconcile intercompany balances.
• Ensure: Conduct periodic self-audits of key business processes to ensure compliance with internal control policies and assist with internal and external audit requirements.
• Report: Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial reports for headquarters and support US GAAP and China GAAP reporting requirements when applicable.
• Optimize: Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, internal controls, and operational efficiencies, and maintain relevant procedural documentation.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Audit, Tax, or a related field, with a solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting requirements under US GAAP.
• Experience: 1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment, including accounts receivable, general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, experience with SAP or other ERP systems, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Bonus: Knowledge of China GAAP and Mandarin Chinese language skills are a plus.
