2027 Summer Associate – Finance Internship | UPMC
The Tone:
This is a full-time, in-person internship at UPMC, located in Pittsburgh, PA. UPMC is a world-renowned healthcare provider whose hospitals are consistently ranked on US News & World Report’s Annual Honor Roll of America’s Best Hospitals. What You’ll Actually Do
• Placement: Be placed within a unique finance function supporting Corporate Services, Health Services, or Insurance Services.
• Analysis & Support: Dive into financial planning and analysis, accounting, financial reporting, revenue cycle management, and transaction support.
• Networking: Network with UPMC Executives and engage in mentorship activities.
• Project Contribution: Work on projects that make an impact on patient care while gaining knowledge on how UPMC Finance contributes to Life Changing Medicine.
• Community Engagement: Give back to the Pittsburgh community through service events.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled college student majoring in Finance, Accounting, Business, Supply Chain, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience: Availability to participate in the Summer Associates Program full-time from June to August 2027 for approximately 10 weeks. Preference for candidates with demonstrated leadership ability through studies, employment, or extracurricular activities.
• Skills: Emerging leadership abilities, excellent communication and analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
• Bonus: Cumulative GPA of 3.0 preferred.
