Job Description: Finance Student Internship Program
This part-time internship program at Cincinnati Children’s offers high school students the opportunity to gain valuable experience in healthcare/research. The specific responsibilities vary depending on the department providing the placement but generally involve learning the daily routines of healthcare/research investigators, fostering career interests, and gaining awareness of the skills needed in these professions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Learning daily routines of healthcare/research investigators
• Fostering career interests in healthcare/research
• Gaining experience and awareness of academic, technical, and personal skills required in healthcare/research professions
• Understanding different health/research careers, including their unique cultures and work environments
• Developing an understanding of the connection between education, work, and goal attainment
• Complying with policies and procedures protecting patient rights and confidentiality
• Completing required Cincinnati Children’s training
• Adhering to safe work practices
• Understanding, adhering to, and modeling Core Standards
Job Requirements:
• Currently a high school student
