What You’ll Actually Do
• Analyze: Prepare, analyze, and interpret financial statements to support client projects and internal strategy development.
• Account: Perform day-to-day accounting tasks, including assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
• Report: Analyze financial data to identify trends, potential risks, and strategic opportunities, then present these findings in clear reports and presentations.
• Collaborate: Work closely with cross-functional internal teams and respond effectively to client inquiries during engagements.
• Improve: Contribute to ongoing process improvements and the establishment of financial best practices within the firm and for clients.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. Candidates should possess a solid foundation in core finance principles, including financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting. A strong understanding of accounting concepts and practices, such as account reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger management, is also essential for this role.
• Experience: Proficiency with spreadsheet and financial software, such as Excel, financial ERP, or accounting systems, is required for daily tasks.
• Skills: Possess strong analytical capabilities to thoroughly evaluate complex financial data, identify underlying trends, and formulate data-driven recommendations for clients. Demonstrate proficiency in accurately interpreting and preparing various financial statements in accordance with standard accounting principles. Exhibit effective communication skills to clearly explain intricate financial insights to both financial and non-financial stakeholders, fostering productive collaboration with clients and internal teams. Maintain a high degree of attention to detail and strong organizational skills to effectively manage multiple priorities within a consulting environment.
• Bonus: Relevant certifications like CPA or CFA, or progress toward them, are a plus. Prior experience in consulting, professional services, or corporate finance is also beneficial but not required.
