Finance Intern (Fall/Winter 2026) | Flagger Force

The Tone:
This is a Finance Internship at Flagger Force, located in Hummelstown, PA. Flagger Force is an industry leader in traffic control, utilizing robust technology and expertise to support the nation’s infrastructure, utilities, and other service industries across the eastern United States. This role is crucial for assisting the finance department with weekly billing processes, ensuring accuracy and efficient financial operations. As an intern, you will contribute directly to the financial integrity of a company dedicated to its employees and the communities it serves.

The TL;DR

• Mission: This person assists with the weekly billing process and other financial projects to ensure accuracy and timely operations.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Data Organization: Organize and sort data, then run required reports to prepare for weekly invoice creation.
• Invoice Processing: Accurately enter invoices into the billing system and perform audits to ensure precision.
• Client Interaction & Resolution: Use various tools to research and resolve billing discrepancies, questions, and complaints for clients, and communicate invoice changes.
• Data Entry & Policy Application: Enter data into client-based systems while consistently applying all billing policies.
• Hours Reconciliation: Process the hours reconciliation report and resolve any discrepancies for the billing team, communicating changes to payroll.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level Bachelor’s degree (or in pursuit of) in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: Proficiency with Microsoft Office software systems.
• Skills: Excellent judgment and decision-making; clear and professional written, verbal, and non-verbal communication; exceptional customer service, active listening, and problem-solving; proactive, service-oriented approach with keen attention to detail; ability to obtain or possess steel-toed boots prior to employment.
• Bonus: Previous internship or past financial related work experience.
