Job Description: Finance Intern
Bloom Energy is seeking a Finance Intern to join their team in San Jose, CA. This is a fully on-site, in-office internship running from June to August 2025. The intern will report to the US Controller.
Responsibilities: The internship involves a variety of tasks designed to provide practical experience in a corporate finance environment:
• Financial Analysis: Assisting with financial data analysis, including revenue forecasting, expense tracking, and budget variance analysis.
• Accounts Payable/Receivable: Supporting accounts payable and receivable functions – processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and assisting with collections.
• Financial Reporting: Contributing to the preparation of financial reports, statements, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Data Entry and Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate financial records and databases, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Audit Support: Assisting with audit preparations, including gathering necessary documentation and responding to audit inquiries.
• Financial Systems: Gaining exposure to and assisting with data entry and maintenance of financial software and systems.
• Ad Hoc Projects: Participating in special finance-related projects as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Must be a junior or senior graduating by Summer 2026.
• Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills are required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is essential.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are necessary.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are needed for effective collaboration.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation: The salary range for this internship is $30.00 – $33.00 per hour.
