Finance Intern Job Description (Detailed)

This is a 12-week summer internship for a Finance Intern at one of Niagara’s HQ departments (specifically CORP-MAIN). The role is designed for individuals eager to work directly on high-impact projects within a fast-paced, innovative environment. Interns are expected to be a key part of operations, encouraged to think outside the box, and apply a continuous improvement mindset to problem-solving. The internship aims to provide hands-on experience relevant to the intern’s field of study.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

Work cross-functionally to successfully complete high-impact projects.
• Gain knowledge about the manufacturing industry and specific department operations.
• Provide assistance with research for new and existing projects, supporting major decision-making processes.
• Engage in intellectual and creative opportunities to tackle problems and develop proposed solutions.
• Attend department meetings and create action plans based on feedback received.
• Develop skills in collaboration and communication across all levels of the organization.
• Prepare and deliver a presentation detailing internship experience, projects, and outcomes to department leadership.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:
0 Years of work experience.
• Currently a Junior or Rising Senior pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
1 Year previous internship experience.

Compensation:

Pay Rate Type: Hourly
Typical Compensation Range: $27.41 – $36.31 / Hourly
