Intern – Finance Excellence | Labcorp

• Mission: Support initiatives that improve the accessibility and quality of financial information across the organization to drive strategic decision-making, operational efficiency, and enterprise performance and analytics.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Analyze Financial Data: Collect, validate, and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and accessibility for reporting and decision-making.
• Govern Data: Assist with data governance and documentation efforts, including mapping data sources and defining key financial metrics.
• Ensure Data Quality: Support data quality checks across finance systems.
• Generate Financial Insights: Prepare dashboards, ad-hoc analyses, and presentations that help improve operational efficiency and financial performance.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program, working towards a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or a related field. Preferred candidates are rising juniors and seniors.
• Experience: Familiarity through coursework or hands-on experience with financial analysis, statistics, or data management.
• Skills: Strong interest in financial data, analytics, and technology; foundational skills in Microsoft Excel; strong attention to detail and organizational skills; ability to communicate clearly and follow structured processes; ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• Bonus: Exposure to SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or Python.
