Analyst – Financial Planning | ProAmpac
The Tone:
This is a role at ProAmpac. The company is seeking a Finance Analyst to oversee various financial affairs and build strong partnerships with business leaders. This position is critical for providing financial insights, preparing key reports, and supporting strategic decision-making across the organization. The role involves managing financial processes, policies, and programs, contributing directly to the organization’s goals and objectives.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Health Analysis: Conduct analysis to gauge the company’s overall financial health, providing insight into planning, budgeting, cash flow, and other financial matters.
• Executive Reporting: Prepare internal reports for executive leadership, supporting their decision-making by ensuring the integrity of all key data sources.
• Financial Modeling & Forecasting: Create, update, and maintain financial models and detailed forecasts of the company’s future operations.
• Performance Analysis: Compare historical results against budgets and forecasts, performing variance analyses to explain performance differences and inform future improvements.
• Growth Planning: Identify opportunities for company expansion or growth, map outgrowth plans including capital expenditures and investments, and generate future financial forecasts.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business with strong Accounting/Finance experience.
• Experience: Minimum of five (5) years in a mid to high-level finance or accounting position; experience with financial planning and analysis functions including annual budget, capital budgeting, long-term strategic planning, and resource allocation processes.
• Skills: Demonstrated success in financial modeling and analysis; ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections; knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems; effective communication (verbal, written, and presentations); maintaining strict confidentiality.
• Bonus: Experience preferred in professional services or investment banking; solid working knowledge of business processes and related manufacturing.
