Job Description: Medpace Finance & Accounting Internship Program
This is a flexible, paid, in-person professional development opportunity offering hands-on finance and accounting experience. The internship’s scope varies by department. Interns will:

Responsibilities:
Interns will play an integral role in several key areas:
• Financial Analysis and Reporting: Valuation, analysis, and forecasting processes and assessments; analyzing and explaining significant trends; presenting periodic financial results to management; developing and maintaining standardized best practices for reporting and analysis, including designing management reporting, analytical tools, and related processes.
• Performance Analysis and Integration: Integrating data from various groups to understand overall performance and deliver meaningful information.
• Financial Modeling and Systems: Maintaining and enhancing financial models and systems that drive budgeting and reporting processes.
• Collaboration and Forecasting: Partnering with operational and support departments (Commercial Operations & Project Management) to assess financial performance and develop forecasts and budgets.
• Reporting and Presentation: Preparing and presenting internal financial reports to senior management and other business users.
• Process Improvement: Assisting with the development of departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other process documents; supporting special projects to improve existing processes.
Qualifications:
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Highly organized with high attention to detail and deadline-oriented.
• Excellent analytical and communication (verbal and written) skills.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with all levels of management.
• Team player capable of working independently with minimal supervision when needed.
