This role is crucial for supporting the Finance and Accounting team in ensuring accuracy and compliance through internal control assessments, audit activities, and robust process documentation.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Support internal control assessments, audit activities, and process documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Analyze: Analyze and test existing control processes and procedures, updating documentation as needed to improve effectiveness.
• Assist: Assist with audits of control effectiveness and evaluate progress made to address identified control deficiencies and risks.
• Collaborate: Collaborate with the Finance and Accounting team on process improvement initiatives, project support, and documentation efforts.
• Identify: Identify and support automation opportunities while providing input for future internal control assessments and risk mitigation strategies.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• Experience: Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting.
• Skills: Microsoft Excel proficiency (intermediate to advanced), Data analysis, Reporting.
• Bonus: Experience with Power BI. Exposure to process automation, data analytics, or other business intelligence and automation tools.
