Job Description: Finance & Accounting Intern
Rose Gold Presents is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Finance & Accounting Intern to support their internal financial operations across multiple business entities. This position is ideal for a rising junior or senior pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field who wants to gain hands-on experience in small business accounting and inter-company financial management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Input and maintain contractor information and payment records.
• Assist with categorizing and reconciling transactions accurately across multiple entities.
• Prepare and send invoices; assist with tracking payments and follow-ups.
• Monitor and update accounts payable and receivable.
• Maintain and organize internal financial spreadsheets.
• Assist with budgeting and expense tracking for events and internal operations.
• Support the creation and updating of event pro formas and financial forecasts.
• Assist with inter-company reconciliations and allocation of shared expenses.
• Interpret and assist with reviewing P&L statements, balance sheets, and other financial reports.
• Provide general support on bookkeeping, reporting, and operational finance tasks.
Requirements:
• Rising junior or senior actively pursuing a degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive financial data.
• Familiarity with accounting and bookkeeping principles.
• Comfortable reading and analyzing basic financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, etc.).
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Proficient in Google Sheets.
• Experience with QuickBooks is a plus.
