Finance and Accounting Intern (Hybrid) | Intact Insurance U.S.
The Tone:
This is a full-time, paid internship at Intact Insurance U.S., located in Plymouth, MN, starting in early June 2027 and lasting 8–12 weeks. Intact Insurance Specialty Solutions provides customized specialty insurance solutions to protect what makes businesses unique, supporting people, businesses, and society in both good and challenging times. This role is an opportunity for a motivated student to gain hands-on experience and develop foundational knowledge in various finance and accounting functions, contributing to the external reporting of financial results within a professional team.

• Mission: This person will assist in general ledger activities, account reconciliations, and ad hoc financial requests while learning established accounting policies and contributing to external financial reporting.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Develop: Develop knowledge and experience in various Finance and Accounting roles, including Financial Reporting, Planning & Analysis, Financial Systems, and Operational Accounting.
• Learn: Learn established accounting and reporting policies.
• Assist: Assist with general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and ad hoc financial production-based requests.
• Produce: Play a role in producing the external reporting of financial results.
• Network: Be a part of a community and develop a network of Accounting and Finance professionals and peers.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently a college student with a background in accounting, finance, or a related technical field.
• Experience: No specific prior professional experience is required, suitable for college students interested in learning from a talented Finance and Accounting team.
• Skills: Demonstrates ability to take initiative and be a team player, exhibits exceptional attention to detail, and possesses strong time management skills.
