Job Description

Job Title: Finance & Accounting Co-op

Job Summary:

This role will support the application development financial analysts in their day-to-day responsibilities. The Co-op will assist with running reports and fulfilling requests from each of the financial analysts.

Responsibilities:

Run and create financial reports: This includes generating reports to support the IT groups, which likely involves analyzing data, creating visualizations, and presenting findings.
Perform budget variance analysis: Compare actual expenses to budgeted amounts and identify any significant variances, explaining the reasons behind them.
Assist with financial analysis: Help with other financial tasks as needed, such as gathering data, conducting research, and preparing presentations.

Qualifications:

Education: Must be a rising Junior or above currently enrolled in a degreed college/university program, OR have graduated from a degreed college/university program within the last 24 months.
Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various levels of management.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
Availability: Must be available to work 15-20 hours per week during the school year and up to 40 hours per week during the summer/on school breaks.

Location:

• Must be available to work in-person from the Mahwah, NJ office 5 days/week during the summers and on school breaks.
• Hybrid or Remote schedule while taking classes (dependent on class schedule and school location).
