Job Description: Field Support Engineering Intern – Fall 2025
This internship is a Field Support Engineering Intern position located in Rosemont, IL. As an intern, you will:
• Assist the team with documentation and reporting processes.
• Work closely with Field Service Engineers to understand, troubleshoot, and resolve problems with malfunctioning electro/mechanical equipment and software applications.
• Follow up on open issues with customers.
• Assist the team on continuous improvement projects.
Key Skills and Experience:
• Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university pursuing a Bachelors’ Degree in a Technical Discipline.
• A skilled diplomatic communicator, both written and verbally.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Previous internship in customer service is a plus.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship needs.
Benefits and Compensation:
• Pay Rate: $22 – $31 per hour (based on year of study)
• Company subsidized benefits plan offerings that includes Medical and a Health Savings Account.
• The internship could lead to an at will full-time role in Signify.
