Job Description
Field Service Technician
Location: Multiple locations available
Job Summary:
The Field Service Technician is responsible for providing on-site technical support to Bio-Rad customers. This includes installing, maintaining, and repairing Bio-Rad instruments and software, as well as providing training to customers on the use of Bio-Rad products.
Responsibilities:
• Install, maintain, and repair Bio-Rad instruments and software
• Provide training to customers on the use of Bio-Rad products
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures
• Keep up-to-date on the latest Bio-Rad products and technologies
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Travel as required
Qualifications:
• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field
• 2+ years of experience in a technical support role
• Experience with Bio-Rad products is preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to travel as required
