About the Job: Field Service Representative (Part-Time)
This role is a Field Service Representative (Part-Time), reporting to the Field Service Team Lead. It is located in Lexington, KY, and falls under the Field Services – Bracing & Supports Business Unit.
Role Summary:
The Field Service Representative is a key member of the Field Services Team, playing an integral part in helping Enovis drive the medical technology industry forward by transforming patient care and creating better patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care in an orthopedic setting and a background in Durable Medical Equipment (DME). This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-moving, patient-focused environment with professionals dedicated to life-changing innovation in orthopedics.
Key Responsibilities:
• Application and Education: Responsible for the application, education, and appropriate use/care of orthopedic soft goods, functional bracing, bone growth stimulators, and all other Enovis products prescribed by healthcare professionals (HCPs).
• Customer Service: Provides routine customer service to patients, physicians, physician assistants, and other clinical staff.
• Inventory Management: Performs inventory management and participates in required audits.
• Patient Benefits Verification: Verifies patient benefits using automation tools, including pre-authorization and/or upfront collection of patient responsibility.
• Liaison Role: Serves as a liaison between the customer, Enovis, and the Sales Team.
• Compliance: Adheres to all Enovis Compliance and Ethics Programs, OIG, government healthcare regulations, regulatory policies and procedures set forth by clinics/hospitals, and HIPAA in accordance with government agency requirements.
Minimum Basic Qualifications:
• A strong passion for providing excellent care to HCPs and patients, and a desire to be part of a team dedicated to achieving extraordinary patient results.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with direct patient care, preferably in an orthopedic, physical therapy, or athletic training environment, or related experience, is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
• Must satisfy third-party credentialing/screening requirements to gain access to hospital accounts.
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License and current automobile insurance.
Desired Qualifications:
• Holds and maintains applicable professional credentials, such as active Athletic Training licensure, Board of Certification (BOC), American Board for Certification (ABC) Certified Fitter-orthotics (CFo), Physical Therapy Certification (PTA), or related.
Work Environment | Physical Demands:
• Work Setting: Provides patient care in physician’s offices, hospitals, and/or clinics.
• Hazards: Involves potential exposure to airborne and bloodborne pathogens.
• Physical Demands: Must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
• Travel Requirements: Requires travel up to 10% of the time, primarily visiting various locations using personal transportation. Overnight travel is not required.
