The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Location: Field-based (In-person)
• Pay: $24–$40 hourly
• Mission: To assist with field service operations, manage value partnerships, and establish operational best practices within the healthcare environment.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Field Service Immersion: Familiarize yourself directly with the field service role by working alongside a Customer Service Engineer in the field, gaining practical, hands-on experience.
• Operational & Factory Support: Provide essential support to the factory through assigned tasks, contributing to overall operational efficiency and function.
• Strategic Partnerships Management: Assist with project portfolio management for value partnerships, while also gaining an understanding of healthcare operations and the importance of partnership governance, roles, and responsibilities.
• Process Optimization & Documentation: Develop comprehensive process maps and establish operational best practices within Value Partnerships, including the creation of an operational framework manual.
• Meeting & Digital Tool Support: Support Engagement Managers by assisting with the preparation of key leadership meetings (including presentations, agendas, and minutes) and providing assistance with digital tools to manage Value Partnership deliverables.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program, majoring in Biomedical Engineering.
• Experience: Rising senior preferred, with a minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.
• Skills: Foundational understanding of Biomedical Engineering principles derived from academic studies.
• Bonus: Familiarity with repairing biomedical equipment, understanding of the US healthcare industry, general strategic partnerships, and fundamental business acumen. Possessing a Biomedical Engineering Certificate, or having previous projects, team competitions, or internships in Sales and Marketing are also beneficial.
